After my PhD thesis in Valencia and 6 years of posdoctoral research in Vienna, I joined the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT) in 2011 as Quality Manager. Since January 2013 to April 2016 I changed my position to support the CECT activities in the MIRRI preparatory phase project. In May 2016 I remained at the CECT as Microbial Resources Manager, where I keep working in the implementation of MIRRI and I am responsible of issues related with Nagoya Protocol, MTA/MDA, licence agreements and valorization of microbial resources, among other duties. I am Vice-Chair of the MIRRI-ERIC Assembly of Members since December 2022.
